IAC Security Training: Customer Service & Documentation Staff Under Continuous Supervision

“This course meets the air cargo security training requirements specified in the IACSSP, through Change 9, for IAC direct employees engaged in customer service, documentation, and other clerical (desk-level) tasks who are under continuous direct supervision by a higher trained (“full charge””) person.

This training is not sufficient for IAC employees working without immediate supervision.

Course Overview

This course meets the air cargo security training requirements specified in the IACSSP, through Change 9, for IAC direct employees engaged in customer service, documentation, and other clerical (desk-level) tasks who are under continuous direct supervision by a higher trained (“full charge””) person.

This training is not sufficient for IAC employees working without immediate supervision and/or who are primarily engaged in:

  • Physically accepting and/or tendering of air cargo, including screened cargo, within an IAC terminal
  • Picking up, transporting, and delivering air cargo (e.g., truck drivers and dispatchers)

This training refers to applicable provisions within the IACSSP, amendments, and alternate procedures thereto, that are or may be relevant to each trainee’s individual security function. Availability of these source documents is not required for the successful completion of this training. This training encourages employees to seek clarification on any issues of concern with one’s supervisor or IAC Security Coordinator.”
