FreightPath Donates $500,000 to the CSCMP Talent Center to Expand Global Supply Chain Education Access
October 31, 2025
Lombard, IL — [October 30, 2025] — The Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) today announced a landmark $500,000 donation from FreightPath, a leading provider of industry-recognized e-learning designed to upskill logistics and supply chain professionals through real-world, skills-based training.
Dedicated to advancing global supply chain education through the CSCMP Talent Center, a 501(c)(3) private operating foundation, this transformational contribution includes 10,000 global supply chain courses, which will be distributed through the Talent Center to support educators, veterans, students, and underserved communities worldwide.
About the CSCMP Talent Center
The CSCMP Talent Center, a 501(c)(3) private operating foundation, is a powerful force for societal change. Through the generosity of corporate and individual donors, we provide free access to world-class supply chain education, training, and career pathways for those who need us most—veterans, educators, underserved individuals, and overlooked populations.
The Talent Center’s mission is simple: to ensure every individual—regardless of background or means—can access world-class education, grow into their full potential, and make meaningful contributions to the supply chain profession.
Through partnerships and donations, the Talent Center provides free access to education, training, and career pathways for those who need it most, including:
- Veterans transitioning to civilian life
- Educators at universities, community and technical colleges, and high schools
- Individuals from overlooked and underserved populations, such as prison-to-pro participants and adult victims of domestic violence
Addressing a Critical Industry Need
The supply chain industry faces a historic workforce gap. By 2030, an estimated 2.3 million supply chain roles will go unfilled in the United States alone. The talent shortage means jobs are taking longer to fill and time-to-proficiency is extending—threatening the resilience and efficiency of the global supply chain.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic, demand for advanced supply chain learning has accelerated dramatically. The Talent Center directly responds to this need by providing accessible training and credentialing opportunities that prepare the next generation of professionals.
Impact of FreightPath’s Donation
FreightPath’s $500,000 contribution provides the Talent Center with 10,100 global supply chain courses, expanding access to CSCMP’s comprehensive education portfolio. These courses will:
- Fill jobs faster
- Build up the global talent pipeline
- Create sustainable career paths
“FreightPath’s extraordinary $500,000 USD donation to the CSCMP Talent Center is far more than an act of generosity—it’s an investment in people and in the future of our profession. Together, we’re removing financial barriers that have too long stood between talent and opportunity, empowering aspiring supply chain professionals across the globe to gain world-class education and career-defining skills. This partnership doesn’t just strengthen our community—it transforms lives and helps shape the next generation of global supply chain leaders.” – Mark Baxa, CSCMP President and CEO
“At FreightPath, we believe that access to industry-aligned, skills-based training shouldn’t depend on your zip code or background. That’s why we’re honored to support the CSCMP Talent Center with this donation—helping learners across the globe build real-world capabilities and move confidently into the next phase of their logistics careers. Together, we’re expanding opportunity while building the workforce our industry desperately needs.” — John Delgado, President & CEO, FreightPath, Inc.
