Eric Brandt
Eric is a seasoned commercial executive with a proven track record of driving growth, scaling sales organizations, and leading strategic transformations across the logistics and transportation industry. He currently serves as the Chief Commercial Officer at Forward Air Corporation, where he leads enterprise-wide commercial strategy, revenue growth, and customer engagement initiatives. His focus is on aligning go-to-market execution with evolving customer needs while unlocking value from Forward’s recent acquisition of Omni Logistics.
Prior to Forward Air, Eric was the EVP of Business Development for North America at CEVA Logistics, where he played a pivotal role in leading CEVA’s commercial organization across the region, building integrated go-to-market plans, and elevating customer relationships across core verticals and solutions. He previously held senior sales leadership roles with global logistics companies, including Agility Logistics, Crane Worldwide, and Panalpina.
Earlier in his career, Eric gained valuable experience on the customer side, having led the Global Ocean Procurement at Kraft Foods / Mondelez and the North American Logistics for the fashion retailer, Esprit, giving him a well-rounded view of the end-to-end supply chain and the challenges shippers face.
Throughout his career, Eric has consistently delivered strong results by blending customer-centricity, operational execution, and commercial acumen. His leadership is defined by a bias for action, clarity in direction, and a deep commitment to team development and cross-functional collaboration.

Jennifer Kobus
Jennifer Kobus is a senior logistics executive with deep expertise in leading global supply chain operations across retail, automotive, and food and beverage sectors. As REI’s DVP of Global Supply Chain, she leads end-to-end supply chain initiatives, driving innovation and operational excellence across international and domestic networks.
Jennifer’s career spans leadership roles across multiple verticals, where she has driven transformative initiatives in logistics, omnichannel fulfillment, network optimization, and strategic sourcing. Her expertise includes building scalable logistics infrastructures, enhancing carrier partnerships, and implementing technology-driven solutions to improve service and efficiency.
Known for her collaborative leadership style and data-driven approach, Jennifer has successfully navigated complex supply chain disruptions while maintaining customer-centric performance. She is passionate about mentoring emerging talent and fostering cross-functional alignment to meet evolving business needs.

Robert Reis
With over 40 years of transportation industry experience, Robert Reis is a respected leader known for his deep operational expertise and entrepreneurial drive. Recognizing early in his career the strategic advantage of a comprehensive logistics background, Robert built hands-on experience across key transportation sectors, including LTL, full truckload, and heavyweight freight solutions with FedEx.
A true entrepreneur, Robert successfully founded and scaled three freight forwarding companies. His first venture—focused on LTL reselling and truckload services—remains operational today after more than 30 years, a testament to its solid foundation and enduring value. He went on to establish two additional full-service freight forwarding firms, both of which were acquired by major industry players: Panther Logistics and Omni Logistics.
Throughout his career, Robert has overseen logistics operations across North America, managing teams and networks in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. His legacy is marked by innovation, sustainable business growth, and a steadfast commitment to delivering exceptional logistics solutions.

Jon Monroe
Jon Monroe is a seasoned logistics strategist and founder of Jon Monroe Consulting (JMC), established in 1998 with a clear vision: to help companies navigate the growing complexity of global supply chains. With decades of experience, Jon has partnered with NVOCCs, shippers, ports, and technology providers to streamline operations and drive measurable results.
Today, Jon represents one of the largest privately held NVOCCs in China and offers cutting-edge middleware solutions through SYSM, a proprietary, cloud-based purchase order management platform that delivers end-to-end transparency into factory activity across Asia. His solutions empower clients with real-time visibility and greater control over their supply chains.
A respected thought leader, Jon is the author of Yangtze River World Report, a 381-page e-book chronicling the evolution of containerization and infrastructure along China’s critical Yangtze corridor. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he became a vital resource for companies navigating global disruptions, publishing weekly COVID Supply Chain Updates to keep the industry informed and adaptive.
Through JMC’s partnership with Worldwide Logistics, Jon has built a robust “One Stop Shop” forwarding network for U.S.-based forwarders operating in China. In collaboration with Encore Services, he also connects clients with skilled overseas programmers who specialize in forwarding, logistics, and purchase order management (POM) systems.

Rick Blasgen
Rick D. Blasgen is president and chief executive officer, emeritus, and current strategic advisor of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) in Lombard, Illinois, USA.
Blasgen is one of the country’s leading authorities on supply chain management. He is a trusted source, sought out by many as a preeminent strategist and voice for the future of the discipline. His professional experience provided the foundation for CSCMP to bring contemporary supply chain strategies to the forefront and to develop and provide education and focused training to many companies. Blasgen has devoted much of his time to public speaking as well as furthering companies’ supply chain management programs and initiatives.
Blasgen began his career with Nabisco, where he held various logistics positions of increasing responsibility in inventory management, order processing, and transportation and distribution center operations management. Blasgen became vice president, supply chain, at Nabisco in June 1998, then vice president, supply chain for Kraft in June 2002. He joined ConAgra Foods in August 2003 as senior vice president of integrated logistics.
Blasgen was designated by the US Department of Commerce in 2011 to serve as the Chair of the Advisory Committee on Supply Chain Competitiveness (ACSCC), providing Administration advice and counsel on issues and concerns that affect the supply chain sector. He served on that committee until it completed its mission in March 2025. He is a member of Northwestern University’s Transportation Center Business Advisory Committee and a past chair of the Grocery Manufacturers Association Logistics Committee, and a past president of the Warehousing Education and Research Council (WERC).
Blasgen is a graduate of Governors State University, earning his degree in business administration and majoring in finance.

Michael Raffler
Mike is a retired executive with a distinguished 47-year career at Kuehne + Nagel, Inc., one of the world’s leading logistics companies. For 34 of those years, Mike held key leadership roles overseeing the subregional management of the U.S. Carolinas, where he played an instrumental role in shaping the company’s regional presence and strategy.
Mike’s focus throughout his career included multinational account care, team development, and the establishment of Kuehne + Nagel’s operational infrastructure in the Carolinas. Under his leadership, offices were successfully opened and developed in Charlotte, Greenville, Charleston, and Winston-Salem, serving as critical hubs for the company’s growth and client services in the region.
Outside his professional career, Mike has remained deeply involved in education and community engagement. He has delivered lectures and participated in speaking engagements at various North Carolina universities, sharing his expertise in supply chain management and international transportation. In addition, he has served in leadership roles on the boards of the Deutsche Schule Charlotte (DSC) and the German Language and Culture Foundation, supporting language education and cross-cultural understanding in the region.

Juergen Gentzke
Juergen Gentzke serves as Vice President of Transatlantic Development at Kuehne + Nagel Inc., where he is responsible for advancing strategic growth initiatives and enhancing trade flows across the Atlantic region. With a distinguished career spanning over three decades at Kuehne + Nagel, Juergen brings deep expertise in global logistics and international airfreight operations.
He began his journey with the company in 1987, and in 1996, he was appointed Officer overseeing the Airfreight Division in Frankfurt, Germany. Two years later, he transitioned to the United States, where he was named Regional Vice President of the Southeast Region. In 2024, he assumed his current leadership role, focusing on the continued development and optimization of the transatlantic trade lane.
Born in Switzerland and raised in the Middle East for 13 years, Juergen completed his secondary education (“Abitur”) in Hofheim am Taunus, Germany. He went on to serve two years in the German Army and earned a Diploma (equivalent to a bachelor’s degree) from the Berufsakademie in Mannheim.
Juergen is known for his strategic mindset, cross-cultural fluency, and commitment to operational excellence in global supply chain management.

Frank Maguire
Frank brings over 35 years of executive leadership experience in transportation, logistics, and restaurant operations. Before joining the FreightPath advisory board, Frank held a series of key leadership positions with industry leaders, including NationsWay, ConWay, and CEVA Logistics. His roles have ranged from Field Sales and Facility Management to Regional Vice President, Global Vice President of Sales, and Global Vice President of Operations.
Frank’s expertise spans customer acquisition, domestic and international operations, project management, as well as systems and operations integration on a global scale. In addition to his logistics career, Frank has successfully built and operated two thriving restaurants over the past 18 years, demonstrating his entrepreneurial drive and operational excellence across diverse industries.

Siobhan Finders
As a Senior Product Manager in the Mid-Market segment at SPS Commerce, Siobhan leads innovation where technology and supply chain operations converge. She is focused on delivering solutions that simplify complexity and enhance connectivity, enabling manufacturers, distributors, and retailers to seamlessly exchange the data that powers modern commerce.
In her role, she identifies market needs, shapes product strategy, and champions initiatives that help businesses keep pace with rapidly evolving industry demands. Drawing on deep expertise in ERP systems, supply chain automation, and data integration, she equips organizations to scale with confidence, streamline processes, and capture new opportunities for growth.
