Course Overview
This course provides a clear, practical overview of U.S. export control requirements under the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and related rules. Learners will explore how export controls apply to physical goods, technology, software, electronic commerce, and digital transfers. The course also covers key compliance obligations, including licensing requirements, export clearance and EEI filings, restrictive trade practices and boycotts, record-keeping rules, and the responsibilities of forwarders and other export agents. By the end, learners will understand how to determine whether an export is subject to the EAR and how to manage core compliance tasks in day-to-day operations.
